Our story

Since 1986 we've chosen Puerto Pirámides as our place in the world. Everything began when Mumo discovered this small coastal town and, together with Malvina, fell in love with a corner that would stay with them forever. In those youthful years, between studies and travels, the dream of building a space of their own by the sea was born.

The old Hotel Español was the setting for the first steps: an empty hall, a simple pub, and a great desire to welcome families, travelers, and friends. That small beginning eventually became a boutique inn with its own restaurant, where Patagonian warmth and a family spirit can be felt in every detail.

Over the years, The Paradise grew step by step. We improved spaces, expanded services, and learned from every guest who chose us. Our families, friends, and community joined the project, helping shape a place that now combines comfort, Patagonian cuisine, and the simple, authentic essence of life on the peninsula.

We're inspired by the nature around us, the history of this place, and the people who pass through it. We believe in welcoming with kindness, listening, improving, and sharing everything that makes Puerto Pirámides special. Every served table, every conversation, every visit, and every return are part of the heart of The Paradise.

Today, decades later, we continue with the same passion: creating a warm, honest, close space where every guest feels at home and can discover the best of this Patagonian corner we love so much.
